ATV/UTV Pass for the Week – $100
ATV/UTV Rules for the 2021 Duel in the Desert
Includes UTV, ATV, Golf Cart, Pit Bikes.
- Limited to ONE per team ONLY.
- No one under the Age of 16 is allowed to operate a UTV/ATV/Golf Cart/Pit Bike under any circumstance.
- Must have a visible ATV/UTV Pass Sticker.
- Only allowed inside the fence of the Pit Area. Refer to Pit Travel Map. Always one way travel (travel around turns 4 & 3, to staging, back around turns 2 & 1 to pit area.
- Must be in designated parking areas if not in pit stall (by grandstand and staging).
- Travel on streets, to camping, showers, fan parking, etc. is strictly forbidden.
- No drinking while operating a UTV/ATV.
- All must be parked one hour after the races end every night, start at 7AM the next day.
- These rules will be strictly enforced and all violators will have their vehicle impounded for the duration of the event.
Additional Vehicles are not allowed in 2021. Any tow vehicles must come in attached to a trailer.
Reserve a Pit Stall. We will return to the traditional pit area in 2021. Prices Range from $50-$200. FREE Parking Stalls will be available.
Backstretch Camping/Pit Stalls are not available. That area will have pit grandstand seating.
REFUND POLICY:
If event is completed this item is non-refundable. This includes all tickets, parking, entry, and any item sold in advance. If event is cancelled, online purchases are fully refundable. If postponed, customers can choose new dates or partial refunds.
A completed event night is considered 50% of scheduled races ran.

Seating is first come, first served each day. Online sales guarantee a ticket and allow you to skip the ticket line with a barcode scanned ticket. There are no reserved seats.
Those with Pit Passes are allowed to sit in the Main or Pit Grandstands. Additional Pit Grandstands will be available on the backstretch in 2021.
- Coolers will not be permitted.
- No outside Food or Beverage allowed.
- Only Clear bags are allowed, but are subject to inspection by security officials and can be no larger than 14” X 14” X 14”. Binoculars, scanners and cameras are allowed inside the Speedway.
- Credit Card Only for Concessions and Merchandise.

CAMPING
- RVs or toterhomes attached to a race car trailer will be allowed to camp in the paved pit area at no additional cost.
- Additional Campers are allowed in the pits for $150 Week. Paved with no hookups.
- Camping is not available on the backstretch in 2021. That area will be utilized for pit grandstands.

In 2021 the Duel in the Desert will continue to raise money for CHARITY.
The rules are simple:
– To enter into the contest the wrap must include a 501c3 eligible charity.
– You must have permission of the charity.
– XR Events will accept 20 total entries.
– Must be entered online by November 3, 2021. No entries accepted at the track.
– In 2021 we will not have a special race.
– XR Events will match the drivers Duel in the Desert combined winnings for the week, up to $1000 per entry for a possible $20,000 in charitable donations. For example: Driver A has won $750 combined from all qualifying and features nights. XR Events will donate $750 to the charity on the car.
– A fan vote will be held on the Duel in the Desert Facebook Page. Most Likes, Top 3, will receive an additional $1000 for 1st, $500 for 2nd, and $250 for 3rd. This is in addition to the match of week long winnings.

The High Plains Late Model Series and Sooner Late Model Series have the option of a LM40 or WRS2-55 on all 4 Corners. Must designate these Series Rules during Pre-Tech and must have documented that you have raced in claimed Series at least 1 time this 2021 Racing Year.
Crate Late Models 602/604 will have an Open LM Tire Rule with Max 6800 RPM.
All Cars will be Limited to a Maximum of 6 New Tires per day. Tires will be marked and this will be strictly enforced. MUST use the same set of 4 Tires for Heats. 2 Additional Rear Tires may be used for the Feature Race.
Hoosier Tire will have limited availability at the Hoosier Tire Trailer located in the Vendor Row at The Dirt Track at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

**AUTOMATIC DQ FOR ANY OF THE FOLLOWING**
– Not having all required and approved safety equipment.
– Weight not painted white or properly secured.
– Not having a driveshaft safety loop.
– Driveshaft not painted white.
– RACEceiver’s are MANDATORY for all races. No RACEceiver, Automatic DQ.
*If noticed prior to race, driver will not be allowed to race*
Super Late Models must be legal within your sanction rules, exceptions in Notes.
Qualifying Divisions
– 3 Nights (If weather, based on 2 Nights).
– Heats with Passing Points.
– Up to 5 Qualifying Features Per Division, Up to 30 Cars Per, Lined Up by Heat Passing Points. 150 or less cars per class, everyone races a Heat and Feature.
– Get Finishing Points Based on Feature Finish or, if not in Feature, Passing Points Placement.
– WIN and You’re GUARANTEED a starting spot on the Final Night (Fri/Sat).
– Not required to race every day, but every qualifying night is worth points towards starting position on final night. Example: Win a Qualifying Feature on Night 1 and take the week off, start 15th in Finals, or keep racing/collecting points, potentially start on pole.
– Fri/Sat Heats and Features are lined up by COMBINED POINTS from the qualifying nights.
– 24 Car Feature (15 Locked In – A combo of Winners or Winners + Points).
– Fri/Sat Final Heats (# of Races and Transfers Depends on Car Count), 1 LCQ (# of Transfers Depends on Car Count).
– We do not race B Mains with this format.
– All Qualifying Night Features have a payout.

Late Model Two Heat Format with Qualifying
Hot Lap Qualifying will be utilized. Drivers will pill draw to determine qualifying groups. Groups of 4 competitors will be sent out at a time. 3 timed laps will be counted.
Qualifying and Heat Race lineups will be split into Group A and B if there are 31 or more cars.
Two sets of 8 Lap Heat Races will be run.
Qualifying results will determine the lineups for the first set of Heat Races.
To determine the lineup for the second set of Heat Races, the top 6 finishers from the first set of heat races will be inverted. All other racers will start the second set of heats in the position that they finished the first set of heat races.
Heat Race finishing points system:
1st – 50; 2nd – 45; 3rd – 42; 4th – 39; 5th – 36; 6th – 33; 7th – 30; 8th – 28; 9th – 26; 10th – 24; 11th – 22; 12th – 20; 13th – 18; 14th – 16; 15th – 14.
Feature lineup is determined by combined finishing points collected in both Heat Races.
Tiebreakers in points for the Feature Lineup will be decided by fastest qualifying time.
